PerfGuild 2019 – do you even do site reliability testing?

The second edition of PerfGuild online conference (8-9 April) will gather 15+ big names from the industry. We proudly announce that Jacek Okrojek, TestArmy’s Lead Test Automation Engineer will be one of them. His prelection will consider the topic of performance testing from user perspective.

When doing performance tests testers usually present statistics from tools that like JMeter or Gatling. This approach works for APIs and simple sites that do not require resources like javascript, CSS or image files. For most modern websites, measurements collected that way are incomplete. They Give stakeholders information only about the performance of the lower layers of an application. Testers need to use other tools and approaches to obtain information about UI metrics, which are critical from the users perspective. In this session, Jacek shares his experience collected during several performance testing projects. Besides explaining the testing methodology, he will show how to use tools that help you gather common metrics and assess website performance on desktop and mobile devices. Participants will learn what they can achieve from a local lab, cloud infrastructure including SaaS platforms or when the application is live.
